This treatment helps prevent and reduce the symptoms of altitude sickness in people travelling to high-altitude destinations. This consultation is for those 18 years of age and over at moderate to high risk of altitude sickness, including those travelling to altitudes more than 3,000m (9,842 feet) above sea level.
Our service includes a detailed consultation with trained pharmacy professionals who will assess your risk based on your travel plans and medical history. If you are at risk, we offer preventive medications, as well as advice on acclimatization strategies and other measures you can take to avoid altitude sickness. Should you already be experiencing symptoms, we offer treatments meant to alleviate these uncomfortable and potentially harmful effects.
