Cryotherapy
At Chic Pharmacy, cryotherapy is a safe, effective treatment that uses extreme cold to precisely target and remove a range of common skin concerns. By applying a fine jet of nitrous oxide to the affected area, cryotherapy works by freezing and destroying unwanted tissue, while leaving the surrounding healthy skin unharmed.
Cryotherapy can be used to treat a variety of skin lesions, including: cherry angiomas, warts and verrucae, skin tags, pigmented spots and moles (suitability assessed at consultation). This quick and minimally invasive treatment is highly targeted, with most lesions treated in just a few seconds.

Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a safe, effective treatment that uses extreme cold to precisely target and remove a range of common skin concerns. By applying a fine jet of nitrous oxide to the affected area, cryotherapy works by freezing and destroying unwanted tissue, while leaving the surrounding healthy skin unharmed.
Treatment time:
Usually 15–30 minutes, depending on the number of lesions.
Downtime:
Mild redness, swelling, or blistering may occur in the treated area and settle as the skin heals.
Results:
Treated lesions typically fall away within days to weeks, leaving clearer skin.
Longevity:
Permanent removal, though new lesions can develop over time.
Comfort:
The treatment may cause a brief stinging or cold sensation, but is generally well tolerated.
Safety
All lesions are assessed during consultation to ensure cryotherapy is the most suitable treatment.

Many of our services are available by appointment to ensure you receive dedicated time with one of our healthcare professionals. Appointments can be booked online or by contacting the pharmacy directly.
Are your pharmacists qualified to prescribe?
Yes. Our weight management and private prescribing services are delivered by GPhC-registered Independent Prescribing Pharmacists who will assess your suitability before any prescription is issued.
Can I book online?
Yes. You can book many of our services online at a time that suits you. Once booked, you’ll receive any pre-consultation information required before your appointment.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes. We offer both telephone and video consultations for selected services, including our online weight management programme. Where appropriate, medications can be delivered securely throughout the UK.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available directly outside the clinic, making it easy to attend your appointment.
